Neighbourly Networks
Neighbourly networks have been set up throughout Matlock Bath. Co-ordinators have been identified for each road or part of a road so every household should have a contact should they need anything during the coronavirus outbreak.
Co-ordinators are currently contacting their area through letter drops giving their contact details and asking residents to give their details to the Co-ordinator. This will ensure that every resident has a contact in case of need and information can be disseminated easily. Some groups will have a WhatsApp group for offers and requests whereas some will use text messaging or telephone calls. Some groups may be operating slightly differently but the support mechanism is still there. The network will ensure that there is help on our doorstep if the need arises, eg picking up a prescription, walking a dog or just a friendly chat.
If you have not been contacted yet or do not know who your Co-ordinator is, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 07914 420545. The Clerk will put you in touch with your nearest group.
As part of supporting residents at this time of crisis, Zoe and Chris from Hodgkinsons Hotel are trying to offer the village the opportunity to order for their suppliers. They have produced a basic outline of ordering guidelines (see attached below). Unfortunately they do not have a set price list at the moment as some fresh produce will be market price so not easy to give detailed price list at the moment. If you would like further information please contact Chris or Zoe on 07943 524246.
